MODEST-3 will take place 9-11 July 2003, and will be hosted by the
Centre for Stellar and Planetary Astrophysics
which is part of School of Mathematical Sciences, Monash University,
Melbourne, Australia. It will immediately precede the IAU General
Assembly which will be held in Sydney, 13-26 July. The meeting is
being organized by Rosemary Mardling and Piet Hut. For further
